CentralOS for Android

A signed Android app that opens the existing CentralOS phone workspace. Sign in with your own invited staff account. Android 8.0 or later and an internet connection are required.

Install

Open the downloaded APK. If Android asks, allow installation from the browser that downloaded it, then tap Install. Open CentralOS from its app icon.

This pilot

Schedule, customer and job workflows use the existing CentralOS service. Maps, phone calls and payment checkout links open in the appropriate external app. This update adds Android phone notifications. In CentralOS Settings, select Enable phone notifications, allow notifications when prompted, then select Send test notification. App-icon dots or badges depend on your phone launcher. The build and sender connection have been verified; notification delivery still needs confirmation on your phone.

Notifications

Choose schedule and message alerts in Settings. Notification previews use general wording. An internet connection and enabled phone notifications are required. Sign out or turn off notifications to stop alerts for this device.

Updates

The current web interface loads when connected. To update the Android package, download a newer APK and install it over the existing app. Your existing staff account remains the same.
